  • 2006 International Building Code
  • 2006 International Residential Code (Parts I - IV & IX)
  • 2006 International Energy Conservation Code
  • 1997 Uniform Building Code, Appendix Chapter 33
  • 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code (without Chapter 13)
  • 2005 National Electric Code (2008 NEC effective July 1, 2008)

Applicable Mechanical Codes
Commercial projects and all residential projects with more than two units:

  • 2003 International Mechanical Code (including Appendix A)
  • 2003 International Fuel Gas Code (including Appendices A, B, C and D)

Residential projects with one or two dwellings:

  • 2003 International Residential Code (parts V, VI and Appendices A, B, C & D)

  • Part 5, known as the California Plumbing Code (CPC) (2006 Uniform Plumbing Code)
  • Part 10, known as the California Existing Building Code (CEBC) (2006 International Building Code)

The California Building Standards Code found in the California Code of Regulations, Title 24:

  • Part 2, known as the 2001 California Building Code (CBC)
  • Part 3, known as the 2004 California Electrical Code (CEC)
  • Part 4, known as the 2001 California Mechanical Code (CMC)
